Chicallywood was created around a simple idea: talented Midwest creatives should not have to leave the region to pursue meaningful opportunities in film, media, and entertainment.The name itself reflects the vision. Chicallywood takes the ambition, imagination, and cultural influence associated with Hollywood and reimagines it through a Chicago lens. It is a hybrid world rooted in the city’s energy, neighborhoods, talent, and independent spirit while aiming for storytelling that can reach audiences far beyond the Midwest.Through original productions, artist interviews, public premieres, and creative collaborations, Chicallywood is building a platform where actors, filmmakers, musicians, and storytellers can develop their craft, connect with one another, and be seen.The long-term goal is to help strengthen a sustainable entertainment ecosystem in the Chicago area while creating a recognizable identity that feels distinctly its own.

Each chapter of CHICALLYWOOD, IL introduces a different character, a different triquetra-marked box, and a different supernatural object tied to ambition, identity, creativity, and control. The stories stand alone, but together they expand a mythology where opportunity can feel like a gift until the cost begins to reveal itself. In Chicallywood, the triquetra represents the three parts of every dream: what you want, who you become to get it, and what it costs you.The mysterious boxes are marked with this symbol, and they often appear to people at their lowest when ambition, pain, insecurity, or desire has made them vulnerable enough to accept what the box offers.Everyone wants to be chosen. Everyone wants to feel special. But in Chicallywood, being chosen is never free..

CHAPTER 1: IN A WORLD

Shawnathan receives a mysterious blue box containing a pair of strange earbuds. At first, they seem like a gift, sharpening the world around him and revealing what others try to hide. But the more he hears, the harder it becomes to separate truth from danger.

CHAPTER 2: FACING YOUR DEMONS

A makeup artist discovers a mysterious brown box containing a brush set with an unsettling power. What begins as transformation soon becomes a confrontation with beauty, identity, and the demons people try to keep beneath the surface
